An introduction to Dr. Chrissy Clark
Mar 05, 2025Hello!
My name is Dr. Chrissy Clark and I am a board certified women’s health clinical specialist in physical therapy and a CrossFit Level 2 trainer. Since childhood, I have been involved in competitive sports such as dance, golf, volleyball, and softball. After high school, I attended Ohio Northern University to play varsity softball then transferred to The Ohio State University (OSU) where I played club softball. In 2013, I earned my bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Science from OSU.
I continued my passion of combining fitness and health care by attending graduate school at Nova Southeastern University where I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. During this time, I found CrossFit and have been involved with the methodology in some shape or form since 2013! Sometimes CrossFit gets a bad rap, however, the methodology is infinitely scalable and can be adapted for any age and condition!
My treatment philosophy has evolved since becoming a physical therapist 9 years ago. With my own experiences, continued education, and close mentorships, I now promote how physical therapy can be a gateway to help bring back the mind and body connection that is easily lost with how our world lives.
Along with my treatment philosophy, my goal with every patient is to empower individuals to achieve optimal pelvic health through a holistic approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. I believe that optimal pelvic health is essential for your overall wellness. I am committed to providing comprehensive care that addresses both physical and emotional needs to help you achieve balance and harmony.
Not only do I believe and promote a lifestyle filled with a variety of movement options (including strength training, functional fitness, CrossFit, yoga, pilates, dance, walking, hiking, whatever you want!), I also believe in the power of manual therapy, trauma-informed care, nutrition, mental health counseling, spirituality, proper sleep, energy work, and autonomic nervous system management in order to improve your quality of life.
Currently, I am the founder and CEO of Duality Pelvic Health and Wellness in Eugene, Oregon where I see athletes and active adults in person. Along with seeing patients in person, I see patients online through Pelvic Floored with Dr. Kelly Sadaukaus. I met Dr. Kelly in 2021 while in a study group for our women’s health board certification and I cannot thank her enough for her support and organization. Without her, I don’t think I would have passed the board exam. After we both passed, Dr. Kelly approached me to help her create an extensive online program to teach people how have better pregnancies.
Outside of the clinic, I am wife to Kurt, a mom to Remi, and a fur mom to Ari and Kobe. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in and watching a wide variety of sports, going to concerts, eating good food, and traveling!
